Instructors have the option of enabling Turnitin plagiarism checking on assignments that require students to submit files or enter text. To enable this tool, first create a new assignment (or edit an existing assignment) and select “Online” from the Submission Type drop-down menu. Select an online entry option (either File Upload and/or Text Entry) and then check the Enable Turnitin Submissions checkbox. Click the Update Assignment button at the bottom of the page and that’s it! Turnitin has been enabled for this assignment. Colored speech bubbles will then appear in the Gradebook indicating the originality level of student submissions. Clicking a speech bubble will display the full originality report.
