This week in the atrium during lunchtime, check your t-shirt tag to see where your clothes come from. Students will tally the results to show how many of our clothes are made in sweatshops overseas.
This campaign will lead up to a worker from Alta Gracia speaking on campus on Monday, October 26 at 5 p.m. in Jardine. The Alta Gracia apparel factory in the Dominican Republic provides its workers with a LIVING WAGE. Meet the workers and learn why it matters where your clothes are made.
