This discussion session is designed for instructors who have used rubrics in the past (with no conditions on the positive or negative quality of that experience). Participants are invited to share models of successful rubrics or seek assistance on improving an existing rubric or creating a rubric for an unusual assignment. The session will also include a conversation about using rubrics to gather data about student learning and to provide feedback to students about their learning and performance. The discussion will be held on Monday, October 26, in the College of Arts and Sciences conference room from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
