The ITS Department will host a presentation to discuss the basics of Safe Online Security Practices, and safeguarding Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
Items covered will include:
– Understanding how to protect PII – yours and members of the JCU community
– Secure Browsing Explained.
– Tips on How to Spot Phishing Attempts.
– Why Strong Passwords are Critical.
These topics are very relevant for your work at John Carroll as well as for your home computing.
To encourage participation we will be giving away 3 JCU branded items from the Bookstore.
This presentation will be held on Wednesday, November 18 at 9:30-11 a.m. in room A 202/203 in the Dolan Science Center.
