New String Ensemble for Fine Arts Credit
JCU Fine Arts will be offering a new String Ensemble next term, Spring 2016, for one hour of credit. If you play violin, viola, cello or acoustic bass and are looking for a fine arts credit, this ensemble is for you!
The JCU String Ensemble is an instrumental ensemble that will prepare and perform music composed, transcribed or arranged for string instruments. Literature will come from a variety of musical periods and traditions and be explored in a weekly rehearsal environment. Improve your playing technique while creating music, meeting other string players and making new friends all in a group setting.
