Carroll STAR Employee Recognition Program

Please remember to visit the Carroll STAR “Special Thanks and Recognition” program at carrollstar.jcu.edu or via the Human Resources webpage. Since the inception of this program on November 1, 2015, over 180 recognitions have been received by faculty and staff employees throughout the University!

Every employee at John Carroll University contributes to the student experience. Through the Carroll STAR program, employees are able to send and receive recognition across campus for outstanding contributions that support John Carroll University values in the following categories:

Enhancing the Student Experience

Striving for Excellence

Promoting an Inclusive Community

Leadership Excellence

Demonstrating Service in Solidarity

Innovative Solutions & Creativity

Full descriptions of each of these categories are available once you login to the Carroll STAR system.

It’s easy to get started:
To log on to your personalized CarrollSTAR site for the first time, go to carrollstar.jcu.edu where you will be prompted to enter the following information:

USERNAME= your JCU email address
PASSWORD= your Banner ID

You will then be immediately prompted to change your password. Also, employees can access carrollstar.jcu.edu from any computer. All you need is your JCU email address and Banner ID.
