The Tim Russert Department of Communication and Theatre Arts is proud to present the spring musical, Sweet Charity, directed by Keith Nagy. Charity Hope Valentine is an eternal optimist and romantic living in New York City in 1966. She wants something better in life than the sleazy Fandango Dance Hall where she works. Will Mr. Right ever find her? Or will every man she meets dump her? Can she stay optimistic about her future? Come hear the songs this musical made famous: “If They Could See Me Now,” and “There’s Got to Be Something Better Than This.”
Sweet Charity runs April 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m., with a closing performance on April 17 at 2 p.m. All performances are in Kulas Auditorium. Tickets are $7 reserved and $10 at the door, and free to all faculty. To reserve tickets, call 216.397.4428. For more information, call Keith Nagy at 216.397.4308, or Karen Gygli at 216.397.4191.
