Join Hillel at JCU to hear the story of Kasim Hafeez on Tuesday, April 26 at 7 p.m. in Donahue Auditorium. Kasim Hafeez is a British citizen of Pakistani Muslim heritage who grew up being exposed to Anti-Western, Anti-Semitic, and Anti-Israel ideas on a daily basis. During his teenage years he embraced a radical ideology, calling for the destruction of Israel. After visiting Israel, his perceptions changed forever. He felt compelled to speak out for Israel. He has spoken across the world including the 2013 Global Forum on Combating Anti-Semitism.
