Thousands of Northeast Ohioans will walk peacefully through Downtown Cleveland this Saturday, July 9, to call for compassionate approaches to our country’s immigration policies.
If you are uncomfortable with the ways that political candidates have recently spoken about people who are immigrants and refugees, this would be a great way to offer an alternative vision in a peaceful and respectful way.
Things kick off at 10 a.m. at the Free Stamp at Lakeside and E. 9th on Saturday, July 9. Cleveland’s Catholic Bishop will be one of the community leaders leading the group in prayer before the 1.5 mile walk through downtown begins.
