Reminder to Purchase Your JCU Parking Permit

Reduced price permits on sale Monday, July 11, 9 a.m., until Friday, August 26, at 5 p.m. (Price increase of $25 goes into effect Friday, August 26, at 5 p.m.)

Type of Permit and Purchase Price

Freshman/Sophomore Resident (Green Road Annex)

• Falls Semester 2016 – $150 or $175 if purchased after August 26, 2016, at 5 p.m.
• Academic Year (fall 2016-spring 2017) – $300 or $325 if purchased after August 26, 2016, at 5 p.m. (May park in “General Parking” areas on campus Fridays at 5 p.m. to Mondays at 7 a.m.)

Junior/Senior Resident (On campus)

• Fall Semester 2016 – $150 or $175 if purchased after August 26, 2016, at 5 p.m.
• Academic Year (fall 2016-spring 2017) – $300 or $325 if purchased after August 26, 2016, at 5 p.m.

Commuter (On Campus – Valid 7 a.m. until 3 a.m.) – Sophomore, Junior and Senior Class

• Fall Semester 2016 – $150 or $175 if purchased after August 26, 2016, at 5 p.m.
• Academic year (fall 2016-spring 2017) – $300 or $325 if purchased after August 26, 2016, at 5 p.m.

Freshman Commuter (BP Lot – valid 7 a.m. until 3 a.m.)

• Fall Semester 2016 – $150 or $175 if purchased after August 26, 2016, at 5 p.m.
• Academic year (fall 2016-spring 2017) – $300 or $325 if purchased after August 26, 2016, at 5 p.m. (May park in “General Parking” areas on campus Fridays at 5 p.m. to Mondays at 7 a.m.)

Evening (On campus – valid 3 p.m. until 3 a.m.)

• Fall Semester 2016 – $60 or $85 if purchased after August 26, 2016, at 5 p.m.
• Academic year (fall 2016-spring 2017) – $120 or $145 if purchased after August 26, 2016, at 5 p.m.

Student Parking Permit Timeline

• Monday, July 11, at 9 a.m. – Permits available to purchase online (see discount prices above). Remember to print your temporary permit immediately after applying for the permit. Permits will not be mailed!
• Wednesday, August 17, to Friday, August 26 – Permits can be picked up in the JCU Parking Office: Monday to Friday – 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Friday, August 26, at 5 p.m. – Discount pricing ends.
• Monday, August 29, to Friday, September 2 – The first week of classes. Permits ordered and paid for by Friday, August 26, at 4 p.m. may be picked up from the Mailroom in the Administration Building, (residents and commuter permit holders) 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Evening Permit Holders will pick up permits at the JCU Parking Office the first week of classes: Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday – 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, September 6 – All parking permits must be purchased and affixed to your rear view mirror.
