9th Annual Ride for Miles

The 9th Annual Ride For Miles, will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2016. The Ride, which begins and ends at the Dolan Science Center, is a 15-mile, family-friendly bike ride though University Heights, Beachwood, Pepper Pike, and Gates Mills.

The Ride commemorates the life and work of Dr. Miles Coburn, beloved Carroll biology professor and department chair, who was killed in a biking accident in August 2008. RIDE FOR MILES is a nonprofit organization established to educate people about the environment and bicycle safety.

We hope you can join us for another enjoyable late summer Sunday morning. We expect to have all our sponsors, musicians, and volunteers back this year!

Please register to ride or volunteer via the Ride For Miles website (http://www.rideformiles.org). You can also make donations through the website. Proceeds support environmental initiatives at John Carroll University and bike safety.

Thanks again to all of you, John Carroll University, our volunteers, sponsors, faculty, students, and musicians who have made the Ride For Miles such a special gathering!
