Join the World Around You
Hope you all had a nice summer! We would like to welcome everybody back to World Around You as well as welcome new members. We are looking forward to what this year brings and we have a lot of great ideas in store, including guest speakers, group discussions, group volunteer day, movie night, night on the town, and many other events.
This year, we are also looking to add a new officer position. More information on that will be presented at the first meeting so please be there! Sign ups to be considered a nominee will be available in the first meeting.
We will hold a booth at the Involvement Fair and would love if you stopped by to learn more about our organization, our missions, meetings, and how to join. We will be open for questions and we will be passing out candy! We are excited to meet you all if we have not already! Please bring friends along and spread the word about World Around You!
Our first meeting will be held Monday, September 12, at 7 p.m in the CSDI lounge, located in the student center.
