Applications for summer 2017 Shepherd Internships are open now and are due by November 4, 2016. Sophomores and juniors are eligible to apply.

The Shepherd Higher Education Consortium on Poverty integrates rigorous academic study and focused direct service with disadvantaged communities and persons. The intent of this program is to prepare students for lives aimed at diminishing poverty and enhancing human capability.
The Shepherd Internship Program is competitive and designed to serve members of the Consortium. It is an eight-week summer internship program that places students with non-profit and government funded agencies in a variety of human service sectors throughout the United States.
