Representatives from more than 50 government agencies are very eager this year to meet students and alumni of all majors and disciplines for internship and full-time opportunities!
At this event, students can learn about the different agencies and what it takes to be a competitive job candidate. There will be representatives from federal, state, and local government agencies and workshops on how to apply for work with Cuyahoga County, the State of Ohio, and the U.S. Government.
This event is free to attend and open to the public. Professional attire is suggested. Although representatives may not be permitted to take résumés, you may bring copies to get feedback on. For a schedule of events and to view the list of attending agencies, please visit www.jcu.edu/careercenter.
In addition, to help you prepare, there will be two sessions of a free virtual workshop, Writing Your Federal Resume by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, on October 24 at 6 p.m. and October 26 at 5 p.m. that students can view anywhere. For more information and to register, visit www.jcu.edu/careercenter.
Hope to see you there!
