Curious About Cadets and ROTC? Meet Your ROTC!
Ever wonder…Why do cadets wear an Army uniform and run around campus with fake weapons on Thursday mornings? Will ROTC help me play Call of Duty? Why do we even have an ROTC program? What does ROTC even stand for? What is different between being an officer and enlisting? What is the difference between ROTC, regular Army, and the National Guard? Does ROTC really pay full scholarship and tuition and monthly stipend?
On Thursday, November 10, ROTC will have a table in the LSC Atrium from 7 to 9 a.m., with cadets to answer your questions, provide information, and to show the facsimile weapons used in training. Free coffee and snacks provided.
