Throughout the month of February a quilt display titled Hear Their Voices! is on exhibit in the Library Atrium. The quilts were all hand sewn by Ruta Marino, administrative assistant, Psychology Department. The display is intended to shed light on sexual assaults that happen in the home or by close friends and acquaintances. The phrases on her quilts are direct quotes taken from survivors who participated in Project Unbreakable. We hope that members of the JCU community will take a moment to view the quilts and honor the many survivors it represents. Knowing the deep impact this topic has for so many, please be sure to practice self-care in deciding if and when to view the display. Community and campus resources are listed next to the display.
