Today: Share your JCU Experience! It’s NSSE!

John Carroll University always wants to improve the student experience, and you can help. This year, John Carroll University will once again participate in The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). On Tuesday, February 14, first-year and senior students will receive an email invitation from NSSE with instructions for completing the survey.
The NSSE was designed to provide information colleges and universities can use to improve the quality of undergraduate education. The survey asks first-year students and seniors to answer questions about their educational experiences-their classroom participation, interaction with faculty and time spent on various enriching activities. The goal is to help John Carroll understand how engaged students are in activities that lead to learning.

The web version of the survey will be available at www.nssesurvey.org in February. In the meantime, if you would like to learn more about NSSE, you can visit their web site at www.nsse.iub.edu. If you have any questions about the project at JCU or our interest in using the results, please contact Dr. Nicholas R. Santilli at santilli@jcu.edu.
As a current student, you and your peers are the best experts on the student experience. We need your participation to help us better understand and improve undergraduate education and the student experience here at John Carroll. Good luck with the Spring Semester.

NOTE: Please do not complete the NSSE survey if you are below the age of 18.

Sincerely,

Nicholas R. Santilli, Ph.D.
