“Narrating Italian Food & Wine, Summer Institute to Italy 2017”
Explore and study the food and wine specialties of Italy! Join the Summer Institute and travel to Italy from May 17 to June 22, 2017. Earn six credit hours (three in language and three credits in either IC299 or IB309). IC299/IB309 (cross listed) can be taken as New Core credit (EGC), International Culture elective, or International Business elective (IB309), along with a language component.
This program will focus on the globalization of Italian food and wine industry. There will be excursions to Milan, Tuscany, Abruzzo, and Rome. Included in the cost of $6000 will be tuition for six credit hours, airfare, excursions, museums, land transportation, and two meals per day.
