Apply for The Washington Center Internship

Apply for The Washington Center Internship. The Washington Center provides college students challenging opportunities to work and learn in Washington D.C. for academic credit. Students are placed in leading organizations like USA Today and government agencies such as the Peace Corps and the Department of Defense.

Students are provided a place to live and attend The Washington Center’s programming activities. Over 75% of students receive some form of financial assistance beyond their usual campus-based aid. A $2,300 credit for Ohio students is available. In addition, there are currently five $3,000 scholarships available to John Carroll University students. Summer students are eligible for a $4,000 stipend for being from an Ohio institution. If you apply at http://www.twc.edu/ by Friday, March 10, use the code “Josh60” and the application fee will be waived.

The Washington Center provides a valuable combination of real-world experience and academic coursework. You will take classes while you are there, and network with leaders in the area who will focus on national and international issues through the LEAD colloquium.

You will sharpen in-demand skills, learn how to navigate a professional environment and gain a clear edge in the competition for postgraduate employment.
