The Gerard Manley Hopkins Chair in English Literature will welcome rising poet, Sinéad Morrissey, to campus on Wednesday, March 15.
Sinéad Morrissey is the author of five collections of poetry, the most recent of which, Parallax, won the T. S. Eliot Prize in 2013. Parallax and Selected Poems was published by FSG in 2015 and was a finalist in the National Book Critics’ Circle Award for Poetry. In 2016, she was awarded the E. M. Forster prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Her sixth collection, On Balance, will be published in May 2017. Please join us at 7 p.m. in Rodman A!
