Today: ‘The Art of Culture Shock’ – Contemporary Native American Cultures and Concerns

On Monday, March 27, at 3:30 p.m., in the Donahue Auditorium of the Dolan Center for Science and Technology, Robert Roche, member of the American Indian Movement and Native American activist from the American Indian Education Center of Cleveland, will present a public lecture on contemporary Native American cultures and concerns.

As an important participant in the Chief Wahoo debate and the Standing Rock Dakota Access Pipeline protest, Mr. Roche will reflect on the ways these concerns affect the Native American community and the ways Native Americans advocate for other marginated peoples and the environment.
