Today: Why are there crosses on the Quad?

The U.S.-Mexico Border Immersion, LASA, and Catholic Relief Services student groups have joined together to educate our community on the pressing humanitarian issues and dangers that immigrants face while crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. Each of the 322 crosses on the Quad represents one person who has died crossing the border in the past year.

We invite you to reflect on this issue with an eye to faith and compassion, while being open to learning.
