Overview: Hunger is a growing problem on college campuses. The rising cost of a college education and the increasing number of nontraditional students mean that more students are living on a shoestring budget, says the 2016 report titled “Hunger on Campus.” Almost half of students surveyed reported food insecurity – the lack of reliable access to sufficient quantities of affordable, nutritious food – in the previous 30 days. Come learn how you can make a difference on our campus.
