Auditions are being held for the Fall 2017 Dennis Lane Memorial One Acts productions this week. The auditions will be held in Marinello Little Theatre in the Lombardo Student Center (above the bookstore) on: Thursday, September 7 from 6-9PM; Friday, September 8 from 3:30 to 5:30PM; and Sunday, September 10 from 10AM-Noon. The first one act, “Annabel Lee” by Don Nigro will be directed by Robin Weaver. It is a play about an English professor, mourning the loss of his wife and his child, who is visited by a student struggling with a paper on Edgar Allan Poe’s poem “Annabel Lee.” The second one act is “The Care and Feeding of Baby Birds” by Ann Wuehler, directed by Tyrell Davis. It is a one-woman show about a woman struggling with depression and the care of some tiny birds. The third one act is a comedy by David Ives entitled “Sure Thing,” and it is being directed by Laura Matteo. It is about a man and a woman and a very strange coffee shop date.
