Outcomes make it possible for the administration and faculty to track student progress as measured by pedagogical goals or desired outcomes. Rubrics, which can contain outcomes as criteria, are used for communicating expectations of quality and can also be used for grading.
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
– Import outcomes into a course
– Create rubrics
– Add outcomes to a rubric
– Link outcomes and rubrics to assignments
– Assess online submissions using rubrics and the SpeedGrader
– Use rubrics together with the Turnitin plagiarism detection tool
