Meet the Nutritionist at Lunch in the Dining Hall

The Cold and flu season is beginning to start. Your immune system plays an essential role in health and wellness. Your immune system can defend you against the viruses that cause colds and flu. One important step to prevent the flu is to get a flu shot. Free flu shots are being offered in the Student Health Center, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Remember it takes more than a flu shot to stay healthy. Another key component is to eat healthy, exercise, get enough fluids, and store foods safely. Join us in the cafeteria on Wednesday, October 18, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. where JCU’s Dietitian Karin Palmer and Chuck Fairchild and his staff will offer some tips on how staying healthy during cold and flu season.
