Writers in Residence Applications
Do you love creative writing? Do you want to find a new weekly service to join? Are you interested in working with incarcerated youth? If yes, then Writers in Residence is the service for you!
Writers in Residence will provide a creative writing workshop experience for the residents of the Juvenile Detention Center (JDC) and Ohio Department of Youth Services (ODYS).
We will facilitate a weekly creative writing workshop with the residents to discuss poems, short stories, and other creative genres. The residents will have time to write, workshop, and share their own pieces inspired by the text of the week.
