Journalism: We Don’t Fake It, 4/12

How does journalism actually work? Three working journalists from Cleveland’s major journalism organizations welcome you to spend an evening with us. Ask your questions. Hear our answers. We hope to build understanding of how professional journalists do their job and hear your ideas about how we can do better. Come hear perspectives from the Society of Professional Journalists, the Cleveland Press Club, and the Greater Cleveland Association of Black Journalists on Thursday, April 12, at 6.30 pm at MT Glass/R’s Kitchen: 13441 Cedar Road (next to Melt).

The event is part of our new interdisciplinary series: “Rant on the Rails: Thursdays at R’s Kitchen”: a new interdisciplinary occasional series covering important issues at the local, national and international level. The event on April 12 is sponsored by the Woefl Seminar in Public Policy and the Department and the Tim Russert Department of Communication and Theatre.

The idea behind the series is to select different topics of interest for the community where civic discourse and conversation emerges sparked by panel sessions, guest lectures, Q&A, or any number of other conversational modalities. For more information visit http://jcu.edu/politicalscience/
