Nathan Kearns, psychology major, Class of 2012, received a “Notice of Award” for his National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) F31 grant application.
Kearns is a doctoral candidate at the University of North Texas. The fellowship will facilitate the implementation/completion of his dissertation project, which will evaluate the influences of acute trauma-related stress and alcohol intoxication on driving-related risky decision-making (e.g., willingness to drive under the influence).
