Today: Crosses on the Quad for Migrants

Please take a moment to examine and reflect on the 312 crosses that have been placed on the Quad. In 2017, 412 migrants died crossing the U.S./Mexico border. Imagine 100 additional crosses and you have the number of lives lost. Students for Social Justice hopes this project will draw your attention to the humanitarian crisis taking place at our border. Additionally, 800 butterflies have been placed on campus, each of which represents 1,000 DACA recipients. Please take a moment to read the signs accompanying these displays.
