Join the History and Political Science Departments on their Spring Break trip to Berlin! This incredible trip is offered by two courses in spring 2019: PO 351 Berlin Seminar or HS 332 Berlin: From Reich to Republic. While on the trip, you will have the opportunity to contextualize modern Berlin in its political and historical past by visiting the Brandenburg Gate, the former concentration camp of Sachsenhausen, and Berlin’s Jewish Community. You will also have the opportunity to speak with former East German dissidents, have discussions with members of parliament, and explore the city at your own pace.
If you’re interested and would like to find out more, please attend our last informational session on Wednesday, October 3, at 5 p.m. in OC 103.
You may also contact Dr. Andreas Sobisch (sobisch@jcu.edu), Dr. Matt Berg (mberg@jcu.edu), or The Center for Global Education (AD B104, 216.397.4320) for more information.
Both courses count for EGC credit.
