The Department of Political Science is proud to announce the 2018 Suopis Lecture Series. This year’s speaker, Sean Webster, is a John Carroll alumnus who graduated with a B.A. in political science and a minor in economics. Sean currently serves as a Business Administrator for the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections where he manages an annual budget of $15 million and oversees all financial, procurement, payroll, human resources, and early voting staff and operations.
His talk, “The Future of Voting in America,” will discuss America’s historically low voter turnout, election cybersecurity, and the policy reforms available to address the future of voting.
Join us on Thursday, October 4, at 5:30 p.m. in the Marinello Little Theater for a timely talk. For more information, please contact Milena F. Machado at mmachado@jcu.edu.
