The Faculty Council Committee on Research, Service, and Faculty Development is now accepting nominations for the 2018-2019 Curtis W. Miles Faculty Award for Community Service. The deadline for nominations is December 3.
The award is a $1,000 cash award given to a full-time teaching or library faculty member who has made a significant community service contribution to the broader Cleveland community consistent with the University’s mission and goals. This contribution may have represented a single, notable achievement, or may represent a lifetime of notable achievement. Service to a regional, state, national, or international program or endeavor may count for the award as long as it has in some way benefited the broader Cleveland community. The John Carroll University community is considered part of the broader Cleveland community for the purposes of this award.
