Sale of Spring 2019 Parking Permits

John Carroll University Parking Announcement

Reduced price parking permits for Spring 2019 will go on sale Monday, November 26, 2018, at 9 a.m. until Friday, January 11, 2019, at 5 p.m. Price of parking permits will increase by $25 effective Friday, January 11, 2019, at 5 p.m.

As of 7 a.m. on Monday, January 14, student vehicles must be parked in student spaces. Vehicles parked in Faculty, Staff, Visitor, or Reserved spaces will be issued a violation.

Type of Permit and Purchase Price

 Freshman/Sophomore Resident (Green Rd Annex)
$150 OR $175 if purchased after January 11, 2019, at 5 p.m.
[May park in “General Parking” areas on campus Friday 5 p.m. to Monday 7 a.m.]

 Junior/Senior Resident (On campus)
$150 OR $175 if purchased after January 11, 2019, at 5 p.m.

 Commuter (On Campus – Valid 7 a.m. to 3 a.m.) – Sophomore, Junior and Senior $150 OR $175 if purchased after January 11, 2019, at 5 p.m.

 Freshman Commuter (BP Lot – Valid 7 a.m. to 3 a.m.)
$150 OR $175 if purchased after January 11, 2019, at 5 p.m.
[May park in “General Parking” areas on campus Friday 5 p.m. to Monday 7 a.m.]

 Evening (On campus – Valid 3 p.m. to 3 a.m.)
$60 OR $85 if purchased after January 11, 2019, at 5 p.m.

STUDENT PARKING PERMIT TIMELINE
 November 26 (Monday) at 9 a.m. – Permits available to purchase online (see discount prices above). Remember to print your temporary permit immediately after apply for the permit. Do not throw away current hang tag; Permits will not be mailed!
 Week of December 10 (Monday) – permits may be picked up between 9 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.
 January 11 (Friday) at 5 p.m. – Discount pricing ends.
 January 14 (Monday) – January 18 (Friday) – Permits will be available in the JCU Parking Office for Pick-Up. The hours will be Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until 4:45 p.m.
 January 22 (Tuesday) – January 25 (Friday) – The office will be open Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday the office will be open from 9 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. Please remember that the office will be closed Monday January 21, 2019, for Martin Luther King, Jr., Day.
 Starting the first week of classes either a valid hang tag or temporary permit will need to be visible in your vehicle.
 January 21 (Monday) – All parking hang tag permits must be purchased and affixed to your rear view mirror.
