Join seniors, Liz Nies and Jeana Franjoine, as well as 2015 alumna, Courtney Radtkin for their brown bag lunch discussion, “Food for Thought” on Tuesday, February 12, at noon in the Campus Ministry Conference Room. Liz and Jeana are Fair Trade interns and Courtney is a certified yoga instructor (RYT 200), nearing the end of her master’s program in nutrition and integrative health. Dive into an hour of “mindful eating.” This includes learning about where food on JCU’s campus originates from, who is affected along the way, and mindful eating practices you can incorporate into your everyday life to reduce stress and improve digestion. Jeana, Liz, and Courtney will be choosing some of their favorite Schott Dining Hall foods for lunch. Come learn the mystery of where your food comes from and how mindful eating can have a positive effect on the body, mind, and spirit.
