Rant on the Rails: Model Arab League

Please join us on Tuesday, March 19, at 6.30 PM at R’s Kitchen (13441 Cedar Road, next to Melt) for a report from JCU students regarding their participation in the regional Model Arab League competition. Representing the countries of Lebanon and UAE, our MAL team took home the top two awards and are now preparing for the MAL national competition.

The event is part of the interdisciplinary series “Rant on the Rails: Thursdays at R’s Kitchen,” an interdisciplinary occasional series covering important issues at the local, national, and international level. This event is sponsored by the Woefl Seminar in Public Policy and the Department of Political Science.

The idea behind the series is to select different topics of interest for the community where civic discourse and conversation emerges sparked by panel sessions, guest lectures, Q&A, or any number of other conversational modalities.
