Interested in going to medical school? Sam Baker, Assistant Director for Admissions & Outreach from Ohio University’s Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, will be giving a presentation on October 23rd at 6pm in Dolan Center A202/203. She will give insight into the application process to medical school, the impact of the personal statement, the need for extracurricular activities, and the relative importance of GPA’s and MCAT scores. Sam will also be providing information about the philosophy, education, and approach to patient treatment of a DO program and how it compares to an MD program. As part of her talk, Sam will speak about OU’s medical school which now has three campuses. She will be happy to answer your Pre-Med questions too! Dinner will be provided! Questions – klee@jcu.edu
