“The Frontlines of Democracy with Ohio Citizen Action”: Propaganda, fake petitions and dark money, oh my! Join Ohio’s largest statewide environmental and consumer rights nonprofit to discuss their campaign against HB6-a corporate bailout that threatens Ohio’s future for renewable energy.

Please join us in an open forum to discuss campaign HB 6 with Ohio Citizen Action on Sunday, November 10th, at 4:30pm pm at MT Glass/R’s Kitchen: 13441 Cedar Road (next to Melt at Cedar and Taylor).

The event is part of our series: “Rant on the Rails at R’s Kitchen”: an interdisciplinary occasional series covering important issues at the local, national and international level. The event is sponsored by the Woefl Seminar in Public Policy and the Department of Political Science at John Carroll University.

The idea behind the series is to select different topics of interest for the community where civic discourse and conversation emerges sparked by panel sessions, guest lectures, Q&A, or any number of other conversational modalities.
