This session is hands-on and designed to help familiarize you with emerging instructional technology and the equipment in our technology-enhanced classrooms and meeting spaces.

1/15/20 (2pm – 3pm) & 1/16/20 (12:30pm – 1:30pm) Introduction to Canvas
You will learn how to navigate the site, find support documentation, upload and organize course or organization site content, publish your course, set up assignments and grade book, communicate with students via announcements and emails, add students and TAs and customize your course site.

1/28/20 (2pm – 3pm) LockDown Browser Advanced Training
This in-depth training for LockDown Browser will focus on advanced settings and features – such as how to use external websites, ebooks, spreadsheets and online calculators with LockDown Browser. The session will also include how students can use LockDown Browser on different devices, such as an iPad, and best practices for instructors and students. There will be a Q&A period at the end. Hosted by Respondus via webinar.

1/29/20 (2pm – 3pm) Create, Collaborate & Get Organized with Google Drive
What is Google Drive? It’s the backbone of your Google experience, combining storage, access, sharing, and collaboration with the power of G Suite. During this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to use Drive to manage your resources in a collaborative environment. Primary topics include organizing files and folders, securing documents through file sharing permissions, group editing and collaboration, downloading, importing, and converting files, along with common tools throughout Google’s suite of apps. An overview of Shared Drives will also be included in this session. This session is intended to be an introduction to Google Drive and will cover basic level functionality.
