Call for Applications – 2021 Celebration of Scholarship
The Office of the Provost and Academic Vice President invites submission of abstracts for the 19th annual Celebration of Scholarship. Since 2002, the Celebration of Scholarship has proudly showcased the research and creative efforts of the John Carroll community—faculty, staff, and especially students. For all information on this event, including links to applications, timelines, and more, please visit the Celebration of Scholarship website.
The 2021 Celebration of Scholarship will be presented virtually on the ForagerOne Symposium platform, an online conference forum. Access to the Presentation content and Live Conference sessions on the Symposium website is free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
The application window opens on February 15, 2021!

Piranha Tank – NEW THIS YEAR! Enter the “Piranha Tank!” Co-sponsored by JCU’s LaunchNET program funded by the Burton D. Morgan Foundation, the Piranha Tank invites aspiring entrepreneurs from across the JCU community to pitch their business idea in a “Shark Tank” style event. This competition will be accepting applications beginning February 15, 2021, through March 26, 2021. Students create a short, 2-3 minute video presenting their idea to an audience (pretend investors and partners) to be judged for cash prizes.
