All JCU staff are invited to take part in an appreciative inquiry session regarding the state of recognition programs for employees. Small group facilitators will walk you through short prompts to discover what recognition looks like at its best and what it could look like in the future.
An ad hoc committee has been formed, in concert with Staff Council and Human Resources, to address the following charge:
“To inventory the current University programs, traditions, events, and policies that focus on Staff Recognition; to provide a review identifying overlaps, successes, and potential areas of improvement; to gather thoughts and input from the Staff community surrounding recognition practices; to explore the benefits of other recognition practices both inside and outside JCU, higher education, and other professional organizations; to submit a summary report and recommendations to the Staff Council Executive Committee.”
The session will take place on Thursday, April 7 at 3 pm in the O’Malley Center Atrium (The Margaret Kahl Arcade, Ground Floor). Refreshments will be served for attendees. Please RSVP to provide an accurate headcount.
