The holiday season is one of the most cherished times at John Carroll University. It is steeped in tradition and merriment. Join us as members of the JCU community gather to light the University Christmas Tree, sing Christmas carols, and visit with Santa Claus for one of JCU’s newest traditions.

4 p.m. – Reception begins
4:30 p.m. – Tree lighting and carols
5 p.m. – Santa Claus arrives
Free for all members of the JCU community.
Tree lighting and reception to take place on the Rodman Hall terrace and on the Quad. Visits with Santa will occur on the 2nd Floor of the O’Malley Center, with crafts for children being located on the 1st Floor. Food and beverages (beer, wine, and hot chocolate) will be available for those in attendance. View photos from last year’s Lighting of the Quad and tree dedication.
All individuals who make a gift to the Carroll Fund of $15 or greater during the registration process will receive a limited edition John Carroll University Christmas Ornament. The Carroll Fund is the fund of greatest need at John Carroll University and directly impacts all students.
