Writing Across Carroll, the Writing Center, and the DEIB Division would like to invite you to participate in a community book read of Linguistic Justice: Black Language, Literacy, Identity, and Pedagogy by April Baker-Bell. This award-winning book brings together theory, research, and practice to dismantle Anti-Black Linguistic Racism (a term Baker-Bell coined) and white linguistic supremacy. This learning community will meet six times in the fall semester to discuss each chapter of the book.
