Nominations are now being accepted for the 2024 Lucrezia Culicchia Award for Teaching Excellence in the College of Arts and Sciences. This is the most prestigious award recognizing outstanding teaching within the faculty in arts and sciences.
Nominations should include the following:
– A letter of nomination that includes a statement and/or documentation that the nominee has made a distinct difference in the teaching climate of the College in such areas as model classroom teaching, campus leadership on teaching issues, pioneering teaching methodology, creative course development, and/or instructional support
– Letters from at least three John Carroll University students who have taken at least one course with the nominee
– Letters from two faculty colleagues
– Letters of support from alumni
The award will be formally presented at the Fall 2024 faculty meeting of the College of Arts & Sciences and includes a stipend.
Nomination materials with supporting documentation should be submitted no later than Friday, March 15, 2024.
