The JCU Honduras Medical Immersion group is having a fundraiser at Edwin’s Too on Shaker Square on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 6 to 9 pm for purchasing medications and medical supplies for the annual Honduras Medical Immersion. Each year a group of JCU students, alumni, and faculty (along with health professionals) serve >1000 people in rural Honduras where there is extremely limited access to health care. There will be a cash bar, a Latin American themed buffet, and a raffle and silent auction for various prizes.
We kindly ask you to purchase your tickets by next Tuesday, Feb. 13, as we have to submit an estimated headcount to the restaurant by Wednesday Feb. 14. Tickets will also be available at the door for $60, but we cannot guarantee availability. A portion of the ticket price covers the cost of food, while the majority of the price will provide financial support for the upcoming trip in May 2024.
