Cornell University law professor and A.I. critic Frank Pasquale will present a talk entitled “From Artificial Intelligence to Artificial Emotion: The Business and Politics of Affective Computing” on Thursday, March 14, 6:30 p.m., in the Donahue Auditorium, Dolan Science Center. JCU’s Doan Winkel, who holds the Kahl Chair in Entrepreneurship, will present a lively response. This is the second event in the series “critical perspectives on A.I.,” co-sponsored by the Smiley Chair in Business Ethics in the Boler College of Business and the Shula Chair in Philosophy in the College of Arts and Sciences.
