Women-Identified Leadership Development (WILD) Program: Accepting Applications for 2024-2025

We encourage you to apply for the next cohort of the Women-Identified Leadership Development (WILD) program! WILD is a one-year leadership development program for a small group (10-15) of women-identified faculty and staff. The core of the program consists of a series of workshops and discussions as well as some informal connection times. We interpret leadership broadly – you don’t have to want to be the boss to be a leader!

Application Deadline: May 15
Link to Application:

– Meet some of the best women on campus– your WILD cohort peers and alumni!
– Learn cutting edge leadership skills and practices from faculty and staff published in and actively practicing leadership
– Apply this knowledge to your own goals in a supportive setting
– Hear from University leaders and guest speakers with national leadership portfolios
– Signal your willingness to lead
– Help create systemic change at JCU

Meet for 2 hours 3 times per semester for a series of workshops and discussions, with some informal connection times. Miss no more than one (we can help you make up missed classes)
Complete about 1 hour of homework (reading, reflection, or experimenting with different approaches) between workshops.
Sponsorship: Seek $250 sponsorship from your program or department supervisor (we can help you with this).

We select cohorts based on diversity of perspective, facilitated by a balance of divisions, faculty/staff, seniority and other factors.

Feel free to email one of the program Tri-Chairs for further information.
