Always wanted to run a 5k but never thought you could?
Well, JCU Fit is here to change that!
Leslie Beck, Co-chair of the JCU Fit employee wellness program and certified personal trainer, has prepared a 6 week couch to 5k training plan for those of you who are ready to tackle this goal.
• All you need is a little self-motivation and time to commit to 4 days of training per week, at an hour each day.
• Leslie will be available to train with you 2 days per week and you will train at least 2 additional days on our own, with Leslie’s guidance.
• Whether you’re brand new to running, just getting back into, or a seasoned runner who just wants some company, please join us!
START DATE: Wednesday, September 4th
TRAINING DAYS: 2 in person training days per week until Footprints race day Oct. 19th (determined once we know who’s interested)
TIME: 12:00 – 1:00 pm
LOCATION: Meet in the LSC Atrium at ready to work
