HRT Certification: One Love “Escalation”
In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Wellness Center will be hosting our next HRT program of the semester, One Love “Escalation,” on October 16th from 6-7pm in the O’Dea Room. Below is a quick description of the program:
“Escalation” is a film that honestly and compellingly tells the story of an abusive relationship – from its sweet beginnings to the tragic end. The authentic depiction of unhealthy behavior escalating into violence helps you understand and recognize the early signs of relationship abuse. The 40-minute screening is followed by a guided discussion.
This program fulfills one of two elective programs needed for HRT Certification. We hope to see you there! Email wellness@jcu.edu with any questions.
