As we prepare for a particularly cold weekend ahead, with temperatures expected to drop to 20°F or lower, we remind everyone to keep windows in dorms, offices, and common areas closed as you leave campus.
Closing windows in such cold temperatures maintains the heating systems and comfortable temperatures indoors. It prevents pipes from freezing and bursting which can lead to significant damage and repairs.
If you encounter any heating issues after hours and over the Thanksgiving holiday break, please report them immediately to the JCU PD at 216.397.1234.
